Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1; Welcome to Tanzania – Journey to Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The drive takes you through the landscapes of northern Tanzania toward a park famous for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

Upon arrival, enjoy your first exciting game drive where you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators such as lions. Tarangire is also known for its rich birdlife and the Tarangire River, which attracts many animals, especially during the dry season.

After the game drive, proceed to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, a park renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The Tarangire River attracts a wide variety of wildlife, making it an excellent location for animal viewing throughout the day.

During the safari, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and many species of birds as you explore different areas of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots while surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness.

In the late afternoon, exit the park and head to Tembo Tarangire Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the savannah. 🐘🌿

After an early breakfast at Tembo Tarangire Tented Lodge, depart Tarangire and drive toward Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful park famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and diverse wildlife.

Upon arrival, enjoy a half-day game drive exploring the park’s varied landscapes, from dense forests to the shores of the soda lake. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, baboons, hippos, and a rich variety of bird species that make this park a birdwatcher’s paradise.

In the late afternoon, proceed to your lodge near the park for dinner and overnight stay, enjoying the peaceful scenery and views over the lake. 🦁🦩

After breakfast at your lodge near Lake Manyara National Park, depart for Lake Eyasi, a serene and less-visited destination known for its stunning landscapes and cultural experiences.

Upon arrival, meet the Hadza or Datoga communities, indigenous tribes renowned for their traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle. Enjoy a cultural visit where you can learn about their customs, way of life, and unique survival techniques that have been passed down through generations.

In the late afternoon, relax at your lodge overlooking Lake Eyasi and take in the peaceful surroundings, preparing for the next leg of your safari.

After breakfast at your lodge by Lake Eyasi, depart for the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy breathtaking views as you drive through the highlands, taking in rolling savannahs and traditional Maasai villages along the way.

Continue your journey into the heart of the Serengeti National Park, where the endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see. Along the way, enjoy game viewing for lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife.

In the late afternoon, arrive at Serengeti Sound of Silence Camp. Relax in this luxurious and unique camp, set in the wilderness with stunning views of the Serengeti plains. Dinner under the stars completes your unforgettable day.

Wake up early at Serengeti Sound of Silence Camp for a full day of thrilling wildlife exploration in the iconic Serengeti National Park.

Spend the day traversing the endless plains and rolling savannahs, witnessing the incredible diversity of Africa’s wildlife. Look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Migration, as thousands of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. Return to Serengeti Sound of Silence Camp for dinner and overnight, soaking in the sounds of the Serengeti at night.
