Your journey begins in Tarangire National Park, a true gem of Tanzania’s northern circuit, renowned for its towering baobab trees, vast elephant herds, and picturesque landscapes that come alive with wildlife. As you explore its rolling savannahs and river valleys, you may encounter lions resting under acacia trees, graceful giraffes moving through the woodlands, and a variety of colourful bird species filling the air with their calls. From there, to the legendary Serengeti National Park.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. You will drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its impressive elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and rich variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and colourful bird species.
You’ll enjoy a thrilling game drive, keeping your camera ready to capture unforgettable wildlife moments. After an exciting day in the park, you will continue your journey to Karatu, a charming town at the edge of the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you will relax and unwind for the night.

Day 2: Karatu Lodge to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Karatu and drive through the picturesque high-lying farmlands and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying stunning landscapes along the way. Descending from the highlands, you will enter the heart of wild Africa —Serengeti National Park —a land of endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see.
You will head to the central Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. The Seronera River provides a vital water source, attracting a wide variety of animals, offering excellent wildlife viewing. Arriving in time for lunch, you will then enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and countless other species in their natural habitat.

Meals: 🍽️ Breakfast at Karatu lodge. Lunch in Serengeti. Dinner at the campsite.
Day 3: Full Game driving in the Serengeti – Exploring the Endless Plains
Start your morning with an early breakfast around 6:00 am, as the sun rises over the golden grasslands of the Serengeti. Soon after, you will set out for an exciting full-day game drive, carrying your packed lunch to enjoy amid the wild.
Your professional guide will take you to some of the park’s most scenic and wildlife-rich areas, where every moment tells a story of survival and beauty. Pause for your picnic lunch at a designated site while surrounded by nature’s tranquillity, before continuing your adventure through this world-famous national park.
In the late afternoon, you’ll slowly return to your camp as the sun sets, painting the horizon in warm shades of orange and gold. Enjoy a refreshing shower, a delicious dinner, and a peaceful night under the starry Serengeti sky — a perfect ending to a day full of unforgettable experiences.
Day 4: From the Serengeti to Arusha – Farewell to the Wild
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive in Serengeti National Park.
This is your last opportunity to capture photos of the incredible wildlife and landscapes that make Tanzania so special.
Afterwards, begin your return journey toward Arusha, passing through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands and Maasai villages along the way. Stop for lunch during the journey before arriving in Arusha in the late afternoon.
Your unforgettable safari adventure ends here, leaving you with lasting memories of Tanzania’s wild beauty.
